The international chess tournament Fermo-Porto SanGiorgio will take place 21-29 August, 2010, at the Astoria Hotel in Fermo (5 minutes from Porto San Giorgio on the sea).

Fermo Chess Open is valid for GM/IM norms and features a prize fund of 6 000 eur.
The time control is 40 moves in 90 minutes and 30 minutes to finish with an increment of 30 seconds per move starting from the first move. Games start 15:00h daily, except the first round at 14:00h and the last round that will be from 16:00h. There are still places open, you can sign up at:
